When we set out to design this program, we didn't just look at what other certifications in various industries offered. We went further. We listened to prospects and clients, seeking to understand what truly matters to them.
They said they wanted a well-versed coach who could adapt to their unique situation, was trained on a variety of tools and techniques to be able to adapt them to their specific needs and preferences. They expressed a desire for coaches who could provide personalized support and guidance, tailored to their individual circumstances and goals. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental approach in their coaching relationships.
In response to these insights, we crafted a certification program that goes beyond mere technical knowledge. We incorporated elements of emotional intelligence, effective communication, and relationship-building into our curriculum. Our goal was to equip coaches with not only the skills and techniques necessary for financial accountability coaching but also the mindset and attitude required to truly connect with and empower their clients.
We eventually settled on this benchmark as a measure for everything we put into this program… We wanted certification so good that we would confidently recommend anyone who completed it to serve our own grandma.
But we didn’t stop there; grandma deserves better than a coach that passed some assessments. We recognize that coaching is an ongoing journey filled with unique situations and client curveballs, so we also provide ongoing support, mentorship and access to topic experts to help them navigate the complexities of coaching effectively.
Through rigorous training, practical experience, and ongoing professional development, we aim to support coaches in their journey to becoming the best versions of themselves. We believe that by investing in their holistic development and providing ongoing mentorship and support, we can make a real difference in the lives of those they serve.
As you evaluate your coach, you’ll know that we created an assessment process that was asked for and can certify that they passed the assessments. While we cannot guarantee that coaches will always use the information properly, we are committed to providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the tools and resources they need to excel in their coaching practice.
Prior to certification, applicants must complete a series of interviews and foundation training that includes 130+ hours of coursework, mentoring and application to learn our industries leading best practices, art of coaching and proprietary client tools. The average coach completes this foundation work in 4-9 months.
Upon completion of the foundation program, they can enter the certification process. Certification modules consist of:

Continuing Education
Ongoing Requirements include completing continuing education, attending peer mentoring and collaboration sessions, and maintaining an active coaching practice. Certification is renewed annually if coaches complete the continuing education requirements.
